Our Colchester, Business Improvement District is an organisation that represents businesses within Colchester City centre; and aims to make the area an ever-improved and much-loved place to visit and work. Our Colchester were looking for a creative company to deliver photography assets for their ‘This City Is’ campaign. The campaign was focused on marketing the incredible leisure facilities within the newly awarded City centre, to be used online by the Our Colchester team to raise awareness. Yoghurt Creative were appointed to photograph lots of big name restaurants as well as smaller independents, art and entertainment spaces to capture the joy, creativity and variety of leisure businesses we are lucky to have locally.

Raised awareness
The photography we produced was used to discuss and promote the ‘This City Is’ campaign on the InColchester website and social media channels. There were also print assets created for the campaign to be distributed locally, including a Curzon cinema window display; showcasing a handful of locally-loved leisure businesses. The campaign was successful in promoting the City centre and the team found lots of other uses for the photography alongside this, including building great relationships with the businesses featured in the shoot – whom all love their photos and were able to use them too.
